Consultation Page

v Consultations are available day time, evenings or week ends to suit your personal circumstances.

v Consultations undertaken Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and the West Midlands.

v Have A Happy Hound recognises that dog owners have a range of problems they need support with and to that end offer two levels of consultation, the comprehensive consultation, and the quality basic consultation. The former is ideal for helping complex cases and multi dog households. It consists of a home visit lasting up to 4 hours, with a written action plan for each dog, a file of useful web addresses and related information, plus ongoing email or phone support for as long as you require it. The cost is £150.00 plus mileage.

v The quality basic consultation lasts for up to 2 hours and is ideal for those trying to settle in a puppy or rescue dog who perhaps need to refresh their knowledge of dog training and revisit the basics of acceptable canine behaviour. E mail and phone support will be available for as long as you require it, and the cost will be £65.00.+ mileage.  While you will not receive the action plan included in the comprehensive consultation, you will have ongoing e mail and phone support for as long as you need it.

v Fee payment can be negotiated and reduced fees available to owners who can prove their dog is a rescue case.

v To avoid confusion and maximise the chances of success anyone in frequent contact with the dog should be present at the consultation.

v As the mobile  phone signal here can be patchy, please, in the first instance. try leaving a message on my landline answer machine.

In order for me to have some background before I visit, would you be kind enough to take the time to answer the following questions.  I look forward to meeting all members of the household both human and dogs.
